Wow, this was really well put together — where are you wise people coming from??

You made some great points Georgia. It seems like everyone who comes into my comment section sums up my long tirades more concisely, neatly and gracefully in 1 minute than I do in 6… You guys make my work look better than it actually is :)

This post seemed to touch a nerve in certain people and I think people are starting to grow tired, mentally and existentially, of this materialistic culture that we all bought into with the rise of technology. We lost our touch with nature and grew arrogant as we figured out a way to temper its wrath. Many of us no longer care about playing outside, interacting with other people or the world beyond our phones and computers.

Your words make me think more deeply about this issue. I love the all of what you said, but especially this line:

“Life is about living within (self-leadership, understanding and growth) and without (leaving the world in a better place than it was when you entered it).”
