This is an awesome guide for anyone who wants to even start developing their own story. I’ve neglected to see that the formula was so simple. Your piece was really engaging and conversational, and while I must admit the “8 min read” at the top usually makes me a little hesitant to start reading, you started it off really well, kept my interest and, before I knew it, 8 minutes flew by with me walking away feeling like I learned something very important.
This reminds me of Dan Harmon’s story structure — I think he is known to use this in every Rick and Morty episode and, by the testament of the intense fandom behind the series, the story structure affects us more deeply than we can admit.
