Hi Freddy,

Thanks for reading and for sharing your thoughts! People can't help but create an ideal to work toward (as we are goal oriented creatures and we are always in the insufferable present, looking for ways to get to the paradisal future), but you're right in calling out the problem that will persist for ever in humans. We easily call out the problems existing outside of ourselves, but rarely look within to see if there is something that needs to change.

Victim mentality is very appealing because it allows people to wallow in their tragedy. To be fair, there are many people who suffer and are beat down by life through bad luck and evil people. Life is suffering.

But the way to transcend the suffering is to accept it as a nature of Being. Our best bet against the tragedy of life is to become who we were meant to be, and this is only by focusing on bettering yourself and aiming at a high goal that will give us the motivation and courage to bear the trials along the way.

Love the last line by the way! I feel that it is beautifully stated but I'm having a hard time really trying to understand and explain it in my own words. Could you expand on that idea a little more?

Looking forward to hearing from you!
