Here before this article blows up… This is an amazing essay Jordan.

I commend you for trying to spread these great ideas and life lessons to those who come after us. I admire the fact that you are planting small seeds into the sub-conscious of young readers, which will later emerge in their lives and change them (hopefully) into great individuals who will influence the world and the next generation as you have.

I was initially going to say that this article should be a “must-read” for people who are entering college. While I whole-heartedly believe that all 10 lessons that you’ve learned from college reflect the lessons I’ve learned throughout college, I believe that these lessons must be learned through personal experience — as you have addressed toward the end by telling readers that they will learn through action.

Your journey of personal development is inspiring for those who wish to improve and better themselves as individuals who wish to know more and understand the world around them. I wanted you to know that I was deeply moved by your essay and felt the need to thank you for sharing this piece — I know that you put a lot of thought and emotion into this piece, calling forth memories and wisdom that you’ve accumulated over the past three years that you could never fully explain to us.

I know that feeling of working hard on a piece, pouring your heart and soul over it, and wishing that other people resonate and acknowledge your hard work. I only wish the best for this essay.

I know because I’ve written pieces before and I was always encouraged by the fact that someone took time to read and leave a thoughtful comment, to engage with me as a person, when they could be doing countless other things with their time.

So again, I want to thank you for sharing your thoughts here and I want to tell you that you’re a great writer. Keep it up!
